I am looking for documentation to provide to a graphic designer on how to build a responsive email template.  Not finding it in the document section of support.

@Blue Wolf You might want to check out this LaunchPoint Partner: Marketo Email Templates Builder – Marketo LaunchPoint

who can help your design with responsive email templates.

You can tell the designer to check this page: Litmus | Responsive Email Resources

It is full of resources to get started with responsive email templates.

You could also download some base templates from knak. and customize them as you and your designer see fit. Just bear in mind that - for whatever reason - these templates include a line of javascript that I've had to remove.

You can check the solutions provided by Marketo partners on Launchpoint for creating responsive emails that are tested across all devices.

None of these responses, though well-intentioned, are actually linking to documentation as to how to create responsive emails in Marketo. Downloading templates is not satisfactory for those of us that need to actually know how and why everything is the way it is.

For instance, why do Marketo email templates have these "body[yahoo]" attributes?
