Resetting the form submit button

Hello!

We have landing pages on our website that requires viewers to fill out a form before downloading an article. We have it setup that when you click on the submit button the PDF will open in a new screen without making you leave our website. However, if you accidentally close out of the tab and are returned to the form you submitted you cannot click on the button again to download the PDF. The button does not reset and reads "please wait" and you have to refresh the page before submitting again.

Is there a way to avoid this?

Good question. I'm not sure how to change the 'Please Wait' message, but what if you sent them an email with the offer in the case that this happens? At least they would then have the offer in their inbox and wouldn't get as frustrated?

Yes, take users to a thank you page. :-)   This additionally gives you another opportunity to market to them and/or take them somewhere else on your site to keep them engaged.
