resend newsletter broke stats in analytics

Following university - I setup a newsletter. A week later i setup a resend campaign (all leads in list). It seems this broke my stats. Email stats only show 1 send, etc ... however, this was not the case prior to the resend.

Need those stats. Please advise.

I would hope the resend shows the summary of both sends - rather than deleting the first to show the second.

It seems the initial send is under analytics and the second send is under the marketing analytics campaign - under the dashboard.

This is confusing. Any fix for this?
