Removing opportunities from our automated sales call offer

Hi there,

We're Marketo Spark beginners, and I'd appreciate your advice.

We've established a Smart Campaign that sends an automated sales call offer to anyone who reaches a certain lead score. However, the issue is that some of our current opportunities are getting this email, which doesn't make since because they've already been in contact with our sales team.

I revised the the Smart List to this:

Data Value Changes:
Lead Score is Greater than XX.

Has Opportunity is False.

My concern is that someone will get onto this Smart List before the sales team creates the opp in Salesforce, and they will somehow stay in the flow of this email blast.

Can anyone verify a way to ensure that our opps aren't getting extra sales emails?

Hi Carrie,

Do you have a protocol for the max time it should take the sales team to create that opportunity? Would adding a wait step to your flow of X time to allow them the chance to add the Opp. work?
