Removing Member from Engagement Program?

Can I simply change the status of a member to 'Unsubscribe' or 'Not In Program' to remove them from an engagement program (nurture)?

Are you looking to remove individuals from an engagement program based on specific perameters or is it a one-off removal request?

A one-off removal request. I don't want them receiving the content.

They showed up in my leads list after the appropriate criteria was set in place.

The best way to remove them from the engagement program is to change the status to "Not in Program". This will also remove them from any reporting.
