Remove/Pause Leads in Engagement Nurture from SFDC

We would like to give our sales team the option to remove certain leads/contacts from engagement programs. Is there a way to set this up on the Salesforce record so they can easily remove their contacts if necessary? Thank you!

Hi Rachel,

A really good way to do this is a Smart Campaign published to Marketo Sales Insight, adding targeted contacts to a control list in Marketo, with another smart campaign triggering when a lead is added/removed from the control list. That smart campaign would flow the action of removing them from the Engagement Program. It could also just as easily be set up to pause them in the stream, which you might prefer.

Hope that helps!

I use a suppress checkbox in SFDC, but it is not foolproof. If they do not uncheck the box, that person never receives an email again. They choose to use this when they are in an opportunity, or close to it. I plan to look into Scott's option above to see if it will work for us.
