"Remove from Flow" in Marketo, "checks" checkbox in SFDC

We have the bidrectional sync setup for our SFDC and Marketo accounts. Checking a "Remove from Flow" checkbox in SFDC, removes the user from our drip marketing flow in Marketo. However, I was wondering if seting up a smart campaign in Marketo that removes a user from our flow upon a specific action, will check the "Remove from Flow" checkbox in SFDC? Can the bidirectional sync "check" a checkbox in SFDC? Please let me know if this is possible an dif you have any advice for how to setup this smart campaign.

Yes, it is possible - just set it up as two different flow steps. When the "specific action" happens:

Flow steps:
1. Remove from flow
2. Change data value in "remove from flow" (SFDC field) to TRUE
