Remove an Event partner from LaunchPoint services

Does anyone know if you can delete an event partner from LaunchPoint services? Trying to delete BrightTalk and since there are past events associated to it, it cannot be removed. The only way to unlink the webinars from the event service is to remove all members first, and we definitely do not want to do that. It is more of a cleanup than anything else, but if anyone has any experiences/suggestions I would love to hear them.

Thanks,

Jason

Hey Jason, have you managed to work this one out yet, chap? Would be useful to know... for the same reason - clean up!

Per Marketo support our only options are:

  1. Remove all members from the referenced programs
  2. Delete all the referenced programs

Neither of which are really options if you want to maintain any associated data.

Archiving the programs will not keep them from being referenced by the installed service.

So, yet again, we're basically stuck hanging on to a bunch of garbage b/c Adobe can't figure out a way for us to easily remove connections like this. Don't even get me started on field management!

Well today i figured out a hack for this...

1. Navigate to the event you want to remove the event partner relationship for

2. Click on the event partner (or select event settings from the dropdown

3. BEFORE the event partner details load, click the top event partner dropdown and select "None"

4. Hit save and celebrate!
