Lead scoring tokens: We using the standard scoring program and noticed that there is a token for noting if the first or last name is invalid, then when they are corrected. How does the system determine if the name is invalid? If someone is using these tokens please share your experience.

Thanks! Kim

Kim,

The Standard Scoring Program is an example template from Marketo. You are definitely not required to use any or all of the example scores.

If you go look at the smart campaigns inside, you'll see how they setup the First Name Invalid. Usually this is a smart list like:

First Name IS "aaa,123, aa123..." and other common bogus first names
OR
First Name STARTS WITH "axxxx, junk, test, etc"

If you do want to score on this, then you must test this a few times to ensure you pull in only junk leads.
