Query parameters appearing in Thank You page URL

Recently the URL of our Thank You pages, which populate after form submissions, have query parameters appended to it. We are seeing ?alild=.... trailing the URL.

We don't feel we've made any changes that would trigger this, any idea why this would suddenly appear? Any idea how to get the URL parameters to stop getting added?

Thank you

We made a change to the way we do the processing that directs folks to landing pages. This URL parameter should only be for pages that direct to Marketo Landing Pages as the thank you page. This change allows us to bring up the thank you page much faster than before, and we need that parameter to continue to support things like Tokens on the thank-you page.

It's on another thread, but recommend addin this to Google Analytics as a Querystring suppression in order to stop your results from getting spliced.

Thanks guys, just wanted to understand why it started happening.

I went in and changed the URL match type for all goal completions from Exact Match to Head Match. This fixed the problem. If you add this to Google Analytics as an exclude Querystring, it only consolidates the results for visitor metrics, but goals will remain broken due to the additional parameters on the URL.

Thanks again!
