Publish Form Completions to Google Spreadsheet

Does anyone know if there's a way to publish form completions to a Google Spreadsheet?

We'd like to send an email with a form to customers and make the results automatically available to one of our teams. In order to do this at this time, we've had to set up a Google form, but I'd much prefer to keep everything in Marketo.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Jenn

Jenn, check out itDuzzit, I think it's what you need:

Looks like you can send new leads to a Google Sheet and hopefully you could put some constraints on that to see only leads who had filled out x form.

If not the webhook scenario is your friend.

Let us know if you get it working !

Hi Jenn,

As you'd be already having a Google Spreadsheet for the results of the form fill outs - you can make that spreadsheet available to anyone with the link (and share that link with your team). However, for the results to be within Marketo, I would prefer using a Marketo Form instead of a Google Form. If that's not possible, you'll need to export the results from Google Form Spreadsheet on a recurring basis and add them to Marketo to a list - that list can be made available to your team.

Hope this helps!

I guess to clarify, I'd like to remove the Google form completely, replacing it with a Marketo form so the result are held in Marketo, but publish the form completions to the Google spreadsheet so our team can review them and add notes. I'm thinking a webhook would be the best way to accomplish this, but I'm not super familiar with them.

You can do that, but that would require to use the Marketo ang Google Spreadsheet API, to implement the functionality where the Google Spreadsheet would update whenever the Marketo Form is filled.

Thanks!

Ooo - does that (or the instructions on how to do this) exist already? I found this, which might be the answer I'm looking for: https://community.marketo.com/MarketoDiscussionDetail?id=90650000000PuieAAC

Justin - thank you SO MUCH! I have to admit I haven't tested anything in here yet, but it truly does appear to do what I need it to do :)

Jenn,

In past I had to do the same exact functionality for a Marketo form. At that time, itDuzzit or Zapper (other similar utility) were not there. If you want to do it by yourself, you can create a Marketo webhook which will submit  the record to Google spreadsheet record creation http post when your Marketo form is submitted.

That way, you do not have to pay for extra transactions to itDuzzit etc. It allows only 20 transactions per month free.
