Progressive profiling with embedded forms 2.0

Hi - I'm investigating embedding of Forms 2.0 using the method described here: http://developers.marketo.com/documentation/websites/forms-2-0/ however when I turn on progressive profiling and reduce the number of fields the embedded for still shows all the fields in the form.  Did I miss something, or doesn't this work?

You're using the embed code and Marketo interface to control everything, not using any of the additional javascript on that page, right?

Are you sure you have all the fields dropped into the progressive profiling field group when you're setting up the form? If they sit outside of that field group, they will display no matter what.
