Progressive Profile and Known Leads - Forms 2.0

I have created a form with progressive profiling using the new Forms 2.0 tool.

In addition to the progressive profiling feature, I want to take advantage of the the "If Known Leads, Show" setting.  However, in testing, I've found that the known lead functionality seems to trump progressive profiling.  I won't be able to collect the data I need.  Is there a way to mark a lead as known only after they've completed the progressive profile?

It's neccesary to select Forms in the "If known Lead, Show" setting for progressive profiling . It wouldn't work if a custom HTML is selected under "If known Lead, Show" setting.
