Program Tracking for Evergreen / Multiple Time Programs?

Hey all,
We have some programs like Lead Generation or New Debit Card Ordered that are sort of evergreen ones that someone could go through more than once.
I'm looking for recommendations on how to best set this up in order to potentially keep some sort of Program Status tracking in place while still allowing the Lead to go through the flow?
I understand that the Lead cannot go backwards in a Program Status Step, but is there a way to allow for someone to go through Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 and then still start from Step 1 if they qualify without removing them from the program completely?
The only other thing I can think of is creating Static Lists and assigning the Lead to those lists when they hit each Status and then removing them from the Program - but this doesn't really allow for quick at-a-glance views of Program Success.

Yes, a person can't go back in Program Statuses, but more precisely that means they can't go back from a higher value status to a lower one. But they can go "back" if the steps have the same step value.

Here for example, we advance the status of a person to "Ready for CRM" if they reach MQL qualification status, but then we immediately also advance them to "Sent to CRM", which allows them to be "Ready for CRM" another time.

So in theory if I wanted all steps to be allowed to flow through multiple times, I should set it something like this:

- Added to Program - 10
- Sent Email - 10
- Delivered Email - 10
- Opened Email - 10

Are there any downsides to this setup from a functionality standpoint?

No, not that I know of. Sometimes a Program Channel is not just one straight-forward progression.

Here's e.g. how we have set up the Tags for an NPS program:
