Program summary within default program says fewer members than campaign level does

Hi,

The program summary when I click on my default program lists fewer numbers of members, click through rates etc. than I see on the smart campaign levels within that program. Does Marketo generate these numbers within the first few minutes of sending out the campaign and not update them? I tried refreshing this view and none of the numbers updated.

Thanks

Rachel,

Members of a smart campaign local to the program, do not automatically become members of the parent default program. That may explain why you have more members in the smart campaign than in the parent program.

That's so interesting, why wouldn't a member of a smart campaign t oa local program not being a member of the parent default program? What constitutes membership for the parent program?

The smart campaign is just local to the program. In order for the leads to become members of the program, you need to change their program status using a "Change Program Status" flow step.
