Program member "custom views" not available for all users

I have created custom views so that the marketing managers can view the appropriate fields for a program (an event registration).  But they are telling me they are not able to see the custom views I've defined in Marketo - all they see are Default, Create View and Edit Default (and not the "Canada Dynamics AX Event" that I've created for them).  Please don't tell me this is user-specific.

True - I believe these are by ID - I'd suggest putting this in as an idea or vote on one of the existing. Ideally when you create a view you can say public or private or share with specific users or roles.

Agree - that's very limiting.  I found an existing idea that Marketo "likes" (http://community.marketo.com/MarketoIdeaDetail?id=08750000000ITPQAA4) - so I'm not confident we'll see this any time soon.
