Progession Statuses for multiple emails in one program

We send many pre and post conference emails throughout the year.  I am creating one program for both emails, however, what is the best practice for creating progression statuses to ensure the opens, clicks, etc are tracked individually?  I am already creating an Outbound b for the post email, should i create an Outbound b for opens, clicks?

If you create a unique email asset within the program for each send (even if you just keep cloning an renaming the same asset), your email stats will be tracked invidually. You'd be able to see them broken on out the Email tab of the smart campaign that is doing the sending.

You can also see their separate performance in the Email Performance report.

We send multiple waves of pre-event invitation emails and just have a single Open and Click progression status within the program for these since you can get the email stats a different way.

We actually use a separate program for our post-event emails since the CTA is different.

It depends how you want to track these.  If you only want to see opens and clicks so you can identify who to send version b as a follow up, there is no need to track this in the progression statuses; your smart lists can use the criteria "email not clicked/opened" and you can view the emails in your email performance report.
