Problems deleting a lead

I'm trying to delete a specific lead out of Marketo. I go through the steps and can see that it runs successfully but when I double-check to make sure the lead is actually gone, it's appears in the "all leads" list when I search by name.

What am I doing wrong? Can someone help me?

Hi Clark,

If you are integrated with SFDC and the remove from CRM option is set to "true" when you delete the lead, the delete will fail if the Marketo sync user does not have the correct permissions to delete the record from SFDC. If the delete in SFDC fails, the record will not be deleted from Marketo because the delete from SFDC is attempted first and if it fails the delete on the Marketo side fails as well. Try setting the delete from CRM option to false when deleting the record. You may also want to review your sync user's SFDC permissions with your SFDC admin if you would like to delete leads in Salesforce from Marketo.

Hi Clark,

I Mel's answer did't solve your issue. It might just be that the sync lag between MKTO and SFDC hasn't caught up with your delete action.
