Prevent Record Update from Marketo to Salesforce
We would like to prevent Marketo from updating our records in Salesforce. Is there any work around for this aside from disabling the synchronization?

What version of SFDC do you have?
If you have Enterprise/Unlimited you can set field level security for fields to be read only.
Personally I believe that you will lose out on a lot of valuable data if you go for a blanket approach and just block all fields from being updated by MArketo .
