Prefill state and country fields

Is there a way to pre fill the state and country fields in a Marketo form? I have the labels hidden and am using the hint text option to display labels inside the fields. However, the select fields only display the first option in the select list and when user revisits the form the fields are blank. Prefill and progressive profilling are turned on.
Any ideas on how to keep the fields from being blank?

Hi Davis,

Have you added countries and state to the value lists in the form editor? When you visit the form, is there a select drop-down with the full list of countries and states?

Yes, the first value in each pick list will show but only the first time you visit the form. On subsequent visits both state and country fields are blank. When you click in the blank field, the pick list pops up with the default "Select Country..." on top of list instead of in the field.

It sounds like the value that is being pre-populated does not exist in the value list, so it's unable to pre-fill it. I would open a ticket with our support staff at this point and have them look at it in detail.

I hope this helped to point you in the right direction.
