Please provide instruction on how to set up a "Pause" step in our preference center.

    • We are working to setup “pause my subscription” functionality in our soon to be re-launched preference center. See screen grab below.  And we don’t know how to build the logic in our instance.  Can you help point me in the right direction?  All I could find in the Marketo community is this blurb and it didn’t help at all, “Pause for 30 days > when flipped to T, a campaign triggers that sets Marketing Suspended=T for 30 day wait step, then sets it to F.”

The note you're referring to means

  • create a Smart Campaign
  • trigger: Data Value Changes for your Paused field, with the constraint New Value [is] true
  • flow: change Marketing Suspended to using Change Data Value
    • then a Wait step
    • then Change Data Value again to set Marketing Suspended to false
