Personalizing an Email

Maketo has a personalization document to learn how to personalize emails by adding data tokens

It all depends on what type of personalization you want to do?

Do you mean just adding in First Name, Last Name and Company name?  Or do you mean based on interest/industry etc?

If you're talking about names and company then you can do as Juan has suggested above.  The other version you could use segmentation and dynamic emails or tokens.
