Person Notes mapped to SFDC Description not writing back to SFDC

I'm wondering, and perhaps it is a permissions issue at the root, if anyone else has experienced the case where they have a flow set up to write to the "Person Notes" field, which is mapped back to the SalesForce "Description" field.

In my case it is not writing the values (with tokens) back to SFDC Description as I intended.

Trying to use this in some purging routines to keep my database "clean".

If it isn't working, please check your Marketo User permissions. Or check if Field Block is active on the Marketo side.

I would avoid using this field and instead create your own Comment and Comment History fields to avoid accidentally having sales people's nasty comments appear on a prefilled form.

I'm assuming that comment history would be a rollup/concatenation of all previous comments?
Do you add a date precursor, when changing the value or do you use SFDC workflow logic to do the rollup of the values?
