Pausing a record in an Engagement Program

I have an engagement program with 4 different streams. Each stream has 1 program which sends out 2 emails. The first email gets sent at 10:15AM and if they don't click on anything the second email gets sent out a week later. If I pause a record after the first email, does that mean he/she will not receive the second email within the same program?

From my experience it will not. Pause in an engagement program will prevent the next email/program in the stream to run. If you want to prevent the second email to go out, you will need to remove the lead from the flow in the program you fired.
