Opportunity Info gone MIssing

We recently discconected our MArketo instance form our Salesforce instace.  This disconnect seems to have eliminated a vast amount of opportunity information.

Shouldn't this information have stayed in Marketo if was there already?

My guess is that Marketo's primary entity is the lead/contact - from there it attaches to the account - then the account attaches to the opportunity. Without a CRM to manage accounts it makes sense why there isn't opportunity info.

What new CRM are you moving to?
