Question

Omitting internal data

How can we remove internal data such as testing data from Marketo? For instance, in landing page views, I can tell that our internal data is still in there.

Also, in our conversions, I can see some of the conversions include our team filling out the form.

I would like to know how to remove all internal data from our Marketo programs.

landing page reports will be hard to do that because they don't permit smart lists.

The other reports you can exclude data from smart lists and such. So add your internal and test data to a smart list and it'll be easy to remove that data.

Thanks Josh! I'm afraid our landing page reports will be pretty inaccurate. Do you know how others perhaps deal with this?

One thing we did was create a segmentation for internal vs default; and in our smart lists--and flows--we filter our folks that are in the internal segment.
