Number of custom fields

I know there is a limit on the number of custom fields we can have within Marketo that are not in Salesforce, but how many is that? And is there a way to see what my custom fields are?

    I have never heard of a limit for custom fields within Marketo.  Perhaps someone with greater knowledge on that can chime in.  If I am understanding you correctly, you can view all the fields that are within MTKO (including custom) in the Field Management section of the Admin area:

      But, how do you know if the field is Marketo only and not in Salesforce? We're trying to find the difference between those.

        If you click on the field, and the SFDC Field Map is blank, then you know that it is only in Marketo:
