Notification for Product Cycle

Hi,

I wanted to know if Marketo has something that scrapes the site and can send out notifications to customers when products become available.

We wanted to place Notify Me buttons on products that were out of stock, in pre-order stage or not buyable. Once the status of thos products changes this would trigger an email to all of the customers who had filled out that field.

Has anyone done this with an ecommerce site and if so how did you implement this?

This would not be a built in function, you would have to create it somehow.

I imagine the first step would be a custom product object that could let Marketo know about this. Then some sort of trigger to collect info on people who were interested, then send that email once the Product Status is In Stock.

Check launchpoint for ecommerce partners and consultants. This will not be super easy.
