No cadence

Hi - if I add a contact to Stream 1 of a nurture and there is no cadence set for stream 1- the contact should receive the email immediately right?

Hi @jodyj - You'll need to set the stream cadence in order for any emails to be sent. Nurture streams work on defined date/time schedules.

If you want that first email to go out immediately, you should include Email 1 as part of the Entry trigger.
