New version of SOAP API?

Hi,


We want to know, all the updates or changes in the SOAP API, so that we can always support the latest version of API in our application. Earlier we have developed our applcation with respect to 2.1 API.


From the documentation, I see that, 2_2 is latest version.

Latest API Version: 2_2

Where to look for changes from 2.1 to 2.2?

Also, Is there a way to subscribe for API updates or new Releases of API?

When was 2.2 API version released? Is it backward compatible with 2.1?

Starting in Feb 2014, we will be announcing the changes to APIs on a blog at http://dev.marketo.com 

As for 2.2, it was released in October 2013 and is backwards compatible with 2.1.  2.2 introduced a new feature in syncMObject() that allows you to update period costs of programs.

Thanks for the response. It will be really great to have a page to track the changes to API. Will keep an eye on that link.

But that changes you listed doesn't look like complete list of changes. I see that there is a change in getLeadChanges() as well. "LeadSelector" filters is added in 2.2.

Yes, that was one other change.  We'll make sure we publish release notes for APIs going forward :)
