New Release: Question regarding "Select Your Language and Locale"

Hi,

I have a question regarding the "Select Your Language and Locale". If I want to just change time zone but not language, should I just amend Time Zone only? I didn't really get what was difference b/w Language & Locale? Is it country variations with a same language?

Hi Cécile,

Yes, if only want to change your time zone preference, then only change that item.

Locale specifies the date/time/number formatting. So, for example, today's date would be displayed as:

1-14-2013 for locale = US (English)
14-1-2013 for locale = US (United Kingdom)
