New Email Editor Not Sending Emails

We are currently testing the new email editor, and have run into multiple issues, but the latest is that I cannot seem to send tests at all. I have tried multiple created emails, different people to send to, none of them ever arrive. Not in spam, inbox, anywhere. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I seem to have consistent issues with the new editor, including when I did get tests, the emails did not look at all like what we created.

Hi @kenmckown, could you please some insights like what is the procedure you are following to send emails?

Yes, I am selecting an email from the Email section, going into it, selecting simulate content. Setting a test record for the simulation and sending it to myself. Then clicking Send Proof:

Hi @kenmckown, I have checked the same in my instance following the instructions that you shared and it is working fine for me.

Did you select options here?

Thanks,

Disha

Hi @kenmckown,

It looks like the issue might be related to the From Address you're using in the email.

I ran a few test cases to troubleshoot:

  • Case 1: Used my valid email address as the sender — Email was received successfully.

  • Case 2: Used a non-standard address (047ed-2ac@xyz.com) — Email was not received.

  • Case 3: Switched back to my valid email — Email was received again.

Based on this, I recommend using a valid and verified sender email (like your own) when testing, to ensure delivery.

Hi @kenmckown

As mentioned by @peeyushsachdeva the from address in the email should be set to a legitimate email id.

By default in new email editor, from & reply to are set to a dummy @adobe.com id.

You can change this permanently from Admin>Email, so your subsequent mail will automatically take to default from email & you will not face similar issues again.

Hope this Helps 😊

@kenmckown were you ever able to get this issue resolved? I'm running into a similar issue and my setup looks a lot like yours - I've got two "people" added in the database using my work email and my personal email (gmail) and I've been trying to send a proof using the same method you show here and nothing is coming thru in either place for me.

This new editor is so frustrating to work with and test against, appreciate any help anyone can provide here beyond "it works for me".

Here's a look at the settings I've got configured thru the process for context:
