Need Marketo to send content-type for SalesForce integration

We have add-on service for Salesforce + Marketo. The integration is based on the content-type. For serveral POST requests like POST /visualforce/recsession, Marketo didn't send any HTTP headers. We need at least Content-Type header sent so that our integration can be executed smoothly.
