Munchkin function to get lead id

It would be useful to have a munchkin function that returns the lead ID (and only this). Typically a 'leadID' munchkinFunction.

Although I understand it would cause a small security breach, this would be valuable as it would enable better google analytics integration, as it will enable the Lead ID GA dimension to be populated event for anonymous leads (see Integrating Google Analytics with Marketo ). Of course, this would only be possible for leadID, not for any personal information.

What's wrong with using the Munchkin Cookie for this purpose?

I mostly agree, although the 1:many lead:cookie relationship could complicate this (could require intermediate queries).

Greg, what is the output scenario? If you want people to drill down to a lead via a custom app, you can locate the lead via cookie. If you want to flip over to the Marketo UI and include the lead ID in the URL, that won't work with a cookie.

Hi @Sanford Whiteman,

The scenario would be to be able to populate Google Analytics JS with the leadID even on non marketo pages.

I gather that, with the removal of anonymous leads, this idea will never happen
