Hello:

I am a little confused about munchkin code on our website.  We recently sent out an integrated campaign with and email and direct mail piece, linking them to a company hosted landing page.  If we have munchkin tracking code on our company site, shouldnt I be able to see where on the landing page someone clicked.  For example, there was a video hosted on the landing page and we want to see how many people clicked to watch the video.  

Any help would be appreciated .

Do you have a program set up that is triggered on Clicked Link for the video click? The Munchkin just enables Marketo to track activity to that page. The Clicks Link would tell you they clicked the video. Maybe I don't fully understand your question.

I have a program set up for the email.  The link that they can click in the email will take them to the landing page that is hosted on our company site which contains the Marketo Munchkin tracking code.  I want to know once they get to the landing page if they clicked on the video link.  Hope that clarifies it? :)  thanks!

You should be able to add a Trigger to a program that looks at Clicks Link specifying the link and using a constraint for the web page URL. If the asset is gated behind a form, it would be Fills Out form. Does that help?

Marketo will not find the link that I am looking for, nor the webpage.  The red squiggly line appears when I enter the link and web page.

This landing page is NOT a Marketo Landing page, it is hosted on our company site.  Not sure if that was clear before.

If you have a link of video page on your landing page, then Munchkin will give you activity report of user clicks. But, if you have video on the landing page and user clicks on "play" button of the video then you will not get any activity report of user.

How are you serving the video? A YouTube link, Brightcove embedded, something else?

I dont design webpages but all you do is click on the image of the video and it takes you to another one of our company webpages where the video is embedded.

Marketo track the links that are clicked. However, it is saved as an anonymous lead by default. You have to create a report to check for leads.
