Multiple account managers for one contact

Has anyone else had the issue where a single contact is managed by different parts of the business and therefore has more than one account manager? Any solutions for inputting this into Marketo?

Hi Rhiannon

I'm an absolute beginner here, but as part of my setup configuration we encountered the same issue and to solve it we are using Account Owner and Lead Owner. If more needed we are creating custom fields for additional Lead Owners within our business.

I'm still setting it up so am hoping that the theory I learned in training works.

yes, make sure you put the email addresses of the multiple owners in custom fields on the Lead/Contact record. You can then use those custom fields to send email 'on behalf of' and send alerts. To send alerts, put {{lead.field name}} in the other box.
