multi-step forms

I have a long form that I would like to divide into multiple Steps, or pages, with something like a "nextr" button between the steps/buttons. I looked around, but can't see any way to do this. Anyone have experience with this? Any help apprecaited.

Thanks

John

John,

Just create the number of forms you need

Form 1, Page 1
Form 2, Page 2
Form 3, Page 3

Form 1 has a follow up of Page 2, Form 2 has a follow up of page 3

I am assuming that your steps make sense to the user and you aren't just trying to extract more data from them.

Not sure I'm following you - how does the data get passed between the pages - seems like the above scenarion has 3 separate forms, or am I missing something? Let me know.

Thanks

Hi John. On the first form, ask the email address, after that as long as it is form after form, it will keep updating the same lead record. The scenario Josh describes IS 3 separate forms, that's the point. That how you split the experience onto multiple pages. Just make the submit button say NEXT >

Hi Adam/Josh - what about if the Marketo form will be embedded on a non-Marketo page? How does the multi-step form after form work in that scenario?

How about using hidden fields that open on the specific completion of previous answers?

This discussion should be moved to Two Part Form Submittal where I posted my working solution (there are way too many of these identical questions around, IMO).
