Question

Multi-domain email authentication setup

For companies with multi-domains sending emails out of Marketo, what are the SPF & DKIM setup requirements? Specifically, if emails are sent from 2 separate domains email@abc.com and email@xyz.com, do we need to use Work Spaces and/or Lead Partitions? Or, can authentication be setup in one and the same workspace/partition and managed via tags?

Any solutions you've tried and best practices are appreciated.

Thank you
Inga

Each domain would have its own DKIM, SPF and CNAME.

It is important while that is flexible for landing pages the tracking domain for emails is restricted to one (for now).

Please keep in mind leads tracked in one domain may remain anonymous in another until they fill out a form or click a tracked link.

The choice of a single or multiple workspaces/partitions is driven by business. Think of workspaces as separate branches of a single parent company. Setting up partitions allows to manage leads independently, including duplicates across partitions.
