Moving the footer down on a landing page

I am trying to move the footer down on my landing page as I have a lot of content and I have looked at other discussions, however, increasing the height of the footer isn't actually bringing it down. I need to actually lower it on the page as I need the footer to be a different colour than the rest of the content. Is there any way of actually moving it down the page? Thanks.

Hi Poonam,

Try editing the height of Content rather than the footer from #mktContent. If you increase the height of the content (the body), it should automatically push the footer below.
