Moving email assets from one instance to another

Hi Everyone,

We've just set up a new instance have have linked the old one to the new one to migrate things over.  So far I've been able to migrate email programs and default programs, however the email asset attached to those didn't move over.  Does anyone have experience with moving assets across instances?  Any pointers would be great.  Thank you
