I am looking to clean up our Marketo instance by moving emails(not templates) that were incorrectly created in the design studio to live with their program in Marketing activities.

i was thinking I was just going to clone the email, does anyone know an easy way to accomplish the above or forsee any major issues with doing so?

Any help would be appreciated.  We are looking to do more marketing in the future and really want to start clean and organized.

Thanks!!!

You can move an email (or form, or landing page) from the Design Studio to a Program as a local asset. This will remove it from the Design Studio and into its Program. No deletion is necessary (and you won't lose any open/click data associated with it)

Quick question about that.  Looks like there was never a program created for the emai, just a smart campaign in marketing activities, can I just create a program to go along with the smart campaign that has already been created?

Thanks for your help!!

Hi Erin,

Yes, you can create a program for it. Unfortunately I'm not seeing that you can move Smart Campaigns into a program the same way you can move assets.

If these assets are still being utilized, I'd look into switching the whole thing over into a program and deactivating/archiving the old smart campaign structure.
