mktEditable limitations

Is there a way to place limitations on the editing when we place the "mkEditable" on certain sections of our HTML?

For example, I place a limitation to edit text on one of my <div> tags but I don't want the user to be able to change the font and font size. Is there a way to do that?

Hi Nio,

That isn't something we have right now, but might be a good idea to put in. I can see why you might want that.

I am assuming you are referring to HTML emails. If I am following your idea correctly, users have freedom to set their own styles when editing content because emails set inline styles.

Technically it is possible to enforce styles within a text area. However that is enforced at TinyMCE level, a very unlikely change in a multi-tenant environment.

Sorry yes I was referring to an HTML emailer. Basically I want to set up editable sections within the email template but limit the editing content like not being able to edit the fonts or change the font sizes. Is there a way to grey out(disable) those tools on the toolbar when the user is in edit mode?
