Migration to a new instance of Marketo

We are migrating to a new instance of Marketo for our individual business unit versus the shared company instance. Is there any way we can save the historical information - ie: web activity, interesting moments, lead score history, and email history?  We are being told no, that you can not save any of that data... but there must be a place the historical data is saved that we can retrieve. Any thoughts or suggestions?

No, is the plain answer.

With a lot of time, you would export all the lead activities from the old instance using the API, but there is no way to reimport it in your new instance. For some of these key activities, you could create static lists in your new instance and add leads to it.

Another way is to historize data in Salesforce campaigns, that you will retrieve from the new instance... if you use Salesforce
