Microsoft Dynamics CRM Appointment Info in Marketo

Hi All.

Wondering if anyone has had any experience passing appointment details (date, time, subject, etc) from Microsoft Dynamics CRM into Marketo.

Ideally what we are trying to achieve is the following:

  1. Account manager sets appointment with their customer in CRM
  2. Appointment details feed into Marketo
  3. Marketo smart campaign sends an 'alert' to the account manager 1 hour before the schedule appointment with a summary of information housed in Marketo.

Step 3 is fine, we have the info and the email we want to sent, struggling with the trigger based on the appointment time.

Hi Nick,

Is appointment a default or custom object in MSD? AFAIK, it's a default object and it does not sync with Marketo, so what you want to achieve is not possible.

there are many ideas about strengthening the capabilities of the MSDF connector in the community. e.g:
