Merging previously deleted contacts in Marketo to SFDC

We cleaned our database and imported the results that came back as invalid, changing those contacts Sync to Marketo as false but not removing them from SFDC. After running the flow, it was realized that some of the invalid results were inaccurate and some contacts were indeed valid. I am trying to find a way to re-import and sync the data without creating new leads in SFDC.

Has anyone successfully toggled flags to re-sync previously deleted leads that still exist SFDC? In my experience, if CRM ID doesn't change, MKTO won't resync it but wondering if anyone else has run into this issue and found a solution.

Shouldn't be an issue. Just unflag it and it should re-sync.

You could have some data collisions if either end is particularly out of sync eg - Marketo has alot more recent data. But Marketo's sync is pretty good at this.
