Merge Duplicates without affecting Lead Scores

Hi All,

Previously we used https://developers.marketo.com/rest-api/endpoint-reference/lead-database-endpoint-reference/#!/Leads/mergeLeadsUsingPOST Merge lead endpoint to merge our leads. But now we are seeing, that scores are also getting merged using this Endpoint. Is there any way that Merge our duplicates without affecting lead scores?

I checked through developer docs, but that's a SOAP API. https://developers.marketo.com/soap-api/leads/mergeleads/
Is there any workaround for this?
