    Hi Everyone!

    Excited to meet you all and to learn together in this program. I’ve been working with Marketo for over 15 years now and I think I’ve taken this exam 8 time now. I have also worked with dozens of people to get certified and I love the process because I always end up learning more myself. I know the more questions that are asked here, the more we discuss, the more we all get out of this. So please ask ALL of the questions and jump in with answers as well!

      It's nice to meet you. I'm super excited to learn together throughout this program. A little bit about me, I'm based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am the Marketing and Sales Manager at Oktopost, a social media management and employee advocacy tool that is built for B2B companies. I've been using Marketo for almost 2 years now, and am looking forward to passing this exam and getting an even deeper understanding of the platform! 🤗

        If anyone is looking for a starting point or resources on a specific topic, Cynthia Chang (@cynthiach3 ) from Adobe published this amazing guide about a year ago. This is probably the best guide I've seen and I love how it's broken down into specific concepts as well as basics / advanced levels.

          In addition, my coworker also wrote up a study guide for the expert exam with tons of links. It is laid out in the same format as the Adobe study guide. There might be some overlaps but it could also be useful!

              I have been using Marketo off and on since around 2017 and have experience with several other platforms as well.

              Current Role: Digital Marketing Specialist at McKesson on the Marketing Ops team

              I was previously a consultant before coming back to the brand side of things in marketing ops. I was a campaign operations consultant at Etumos immediately before joining the amazing team at McKesson.

              I attended Adobe Summit for the first time in-person this year where I saw @Josh .

                Okay, so I've been running through the Exam Prep Guide briefly and I need to know - is there any trick to remembering how Workspaces and Person Partitions function? 😆 When to use them, how they work, what can/can't be shared between them, etc. I feel like there's SO much going on and my first thought is that the only solution is to just work on memorizing it, especially if you don't actively use them in your instance.

                 

                If anyone has any tips, though, I'm all ears lol!

                    I'm Vish Gupta, I have been using the platform for 5 years, but only deeply starting to use it this year, prior I was managing a team and mostly doing campaign ops QA type work.                           Great! Yes I used to forget about it too. After many CRM integrations for clients we actually added it to the discussion checklist so it wouldn't be a surprise later.
