Member of List - cannot pull from Default workspace

We are new to Marketo, and was told that when we are importing a list, it is best to do it to the default workspace.  But when I try to pull in that list into a campaign, the list does not appear in that workspace.  We have set up Deafult to have access to all workspaces.  Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?  Thanks!

Yes - by region.  Support said to upload the list in default, and then I should be able to pull that list into the campaign (as long as default had access to each region).

When you say you have the Default workspace set up to have access to all workspaces, do you mean it can see all lead partitions?

Do you NEED to use partitions and workspaces?  Things like what you're describing are common place with partitions & workspaces, so unless your business NEEDS to use them, don't. It's more hastle that it's worth even for global/international roll outs. The only time I see this being truly important is when one company has multiple brands.
