Hello, 

Is it possible to easily move the program member date value into a new field location?

No direct out of the box way for the existing members. For new members, you can create a triggered smart campaign and use system date time token to update the field.

For existing leads, you can download the program member data and then upload that as a list in marketo and map the program member date with the lead field.
