Mass update unsubscribed status by importing list from a third party program

Hi All,

I am new to Marketo and I would appreciate if one of you could help me navigate this.

I want to import a list of unsubscribed leads pulled from another program and want to be able to update the existing leads in Marketo to show unsubscribed status.

Run a smart campaign, select the list as the source, then use "change data" and change unsubscribed to true.

If the leads imported match existing records, their values will be automatically updated.

Thanks guys!

So I can only import the list with two columns - "Email address" and "Unsubscribed =True"?
And this would do the trick?

Or should the value for Unsubscribed be "1" instead of "True" on the spreadsheet to be imported?

You don' tneed to worry about adding in the unsubscribed column.

Simply upload the list with the email addresses. In the flow, select "change data value", select "unsubscribe" and change it to true. Shouldn't take more than a minute! :)
